A Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH) specialist with over nine years of experience supporting survivors across Latin America and the Caribbean through trauma-informed, survivor-centred practices. Abdiel has led and supported SEAH investigations and safeguarding case processes throughout the region, ensuring survivors are accompanied with care and connected to appropriate support. Drawing on deep familiarity with the diverse national contexts, local partners, and community-based organisations across the region, he brings practical knowledge of the services and referral pathways available to survivors in different countries. His experience spans direct case management, strengthening community feedback and complaint mechanisms, and partnering with local civil society organisations to ensure survivors can access safe, responsive, and contextually appropriate support across humanitarian and private-sector settings.
