Jay Feghali (LBN, GRE)

Based in Greece, Jay is a GBV, Child Protection, Safeguarding, and Intersectionality Specialist with deep-rooted expertise across the Middle East, North Africa, and East Africa, built through years of lived and professional engagement across the MENA region. Drawing on direct field experience with communities in Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and the Horn of Africa, Jay has authored multi-language courses on GBV Case Management, Combatting Corruption, and Whistleblowing that are contextually grounded in regional legal, cultural, and institutional realities. Lead developer of corporate, organisational, and safe shelter data governance and protection policies adapted to low-resource and high-risk environments. Researcher, evaluator, trainer, and advisor to UN agencies and INGOs on multisectoral programming, case management systems, safeguarding frameworks, mapping, vetting, and networking, as well as referral mechanisms - with an approach rooted in local ownership and community-led accountability.
