Jay Feghali (LBN, GRE)

Originally from Lebanon and based in Greece, Jay is a senior GBV, Safeguarding, Child Protection, and Intersectionality specialist with over two decades of experience in 14 countries across five continents. His work aims to strengthen survivor-centred and accountable responses to violence through combining technical expertise with research, programme leadership, monitoring and evaluation, training, and systems development. Jay has worked with and advised UN agencies, INGOs, governments, and civil society organisations on GBV case management, safeguarding frameworks, mapping and referral mechanisms, data governance, and multisectoral programming. He has developed global learning resources, including a GBV Case Management in Emergencies course in seven languages, and led research and policy development across diverse humanitarian and development contexts. As YourSide’s former SWANA Regional Expert, Jay brings contextual expertise, experience on mapping and vetting of services for athletes experiencing violence and lived and professional engagement across the SWANA region.
