Kim Shore is an internationally recognized safe sport advocate who is transforming conversations about the value of lived experience, athlete safety, child protection, and human rights. A former elite athlete and sport abuse survivor, she has become a fearless champion for elevating survivors’ voices. In 2022, she co-founded Gymnasts for Change Canada, igniting national calls for reform. Her advocacy includes speaking at international conferences, guest lecturing at universities, published articles, testifying before Parliament, advising federal leaders, and contributions to Canada’s Future of Sport Commission. Kim consistently positions the survivor's voice as the catalyst for systemic change. As a Trustee of Safe Sport International and founder of Project Safe Kids, she is part of a global collective driving change to the culture and governance of youth sport worldwide.
