Our scope
Our goal is to ensure that anyone affected by interpersonal physical, emotional or sexual violence in the football ecosystem has timely access to impartial guidance and expert support. YourSide focuses on cases that fall under the FIFA Code of Ethics, where conduct:
- Involves interpersonal violence or abuse, that is
- Committed by officials and players, FIFA-licensed match agents, and foot-ball agents.
When we refer to the “football ecosystem”, we are referring to FIFA, the (continental) confederations, and FIFA’s (national) member associations. If your case falls outside the scope of the FIFA Code of Ethics, YourSide may assist you in referring it to the competent authority, with your consent or on your behalf.
